time. such computer are often shared by several people ,
but only user can work with the machine at any given moment



The six primary type of computer in this category are

1. Desktop Computer

2. Workstations

3. Notebook Computer

4. Tablet Computer

5. Smart Phones

These systems are all example of Personal computer
a term refers to any computer system that is designed for use by single person.
Personal computer are also called microcomputer, because they are among
the smallest computers created for people to use.
note however that the term personal computer or PC is most often used to describe
desktop computer, which you will learn about in the following section.
